Mohsin Rashid Bhat, known as Mohsin Bhat was born in Atholi Paddar of Kishtwar District, as any other 90’s teen boys, he also grew up in the mountains, went to the Govt. High school Atholi, back then electricity, cars, television, telephone, cinema use to be just part of school books.

Thanks to Radio which kept the valley updated with rest of the world, be it cricket commentary, news, bollywood songs. Radio was the only mode of entertainment and information.

Bollywood got into his nerves and he started manifesting to be an actor, be it annual day at school, celebration of Independence Day.

He made sure that he had a role to play. Back then, one had to relocate to the city Jammu if he/she wanted to pursue higher studies. And it was jammu which made Mohsin think about his dreams and it looked easier for him.

For few years he was associated with a theatre group in jammu and finally 2012 he moved to the city of dreams. Like many struggling actors he joined a drama school in Mumbai and kept trying for mainstream television and films.

Almost an year of trying he was given a cameo (Mr Bhalla) to play on a popular show on Colors tv called Bani, almost two years of wait he bagged a Show for Zee tv called Aryan where he played a role of Vayuman, and then things kept rolling for him. He played different characters in many episodic stories for Star Plus, Life Ok, Sony Tv, shows like Savdhan India, Crime Petrol, Crime Alert, Box Cricket League etc. He model for popular brands like Raymond, Colgate etc. participated in many fashion shows across the world representing and endorsing Indian designers abroad.

In 2017 his movie ISIS was released which gave him a big boost to be noticed on bigger screen. And bagged him some web shows for Netflix which are yet to be released.

Basic Instructions For Machail Yatries (2022)

It has been 35 years when Machail Yatra was started in 1985 by Sh.Thakur Kulbir Singh Ji. If you remember in 1985 there were only 35 members who accompanied Thakur Ji. Now it has been swelled to become a Yatra of about 3 Lakh people. Only Maa Chandi knows what made this Yatra a huge success. Perhaps the grace of Maa Chandi and Lord Shiva or the sightseeing spots which pilgrims find on their way to Machail, the question is no simple. Anyway this Yatra today has become the 3rd largest Yatra of the J&K state. Exotic tourist places on the way pull many people towards this unique Himalayan abode of Maa Chandi.

This year in 2022 pilgrims who are going or planning to make this Yatra a memorable moment of their lives, they must know these things to get away with the hurdles and blockades that one encounter in this tough terrain.

Langar Facilties during Machail Yatra

No worries as devotees of Maa Chandi can find Langar facilities at many places. Food is not a thing to worry, believe us. You shall get sumptuous food for free at almost all the major places in the way.

If you are planning to stop at Kishtwar which is a main town and District of the state, you can stop at the Dharamshala of Sirkoot Mandir Kishtwar.

If your plan is to rest at Gulabgarh or Atholi you can approach the main building of SSSS ( Sarv Shakti Sevak Sanstha). There are hotels also available in Gulabgarh Paddar. 

If your plan is to stay at Chishoti, you can easily get Dharamshala to put your feets up and

If you are planning to stay at Machail, there are two options either to stay at Dharamshala for free or find rented rooms or tents there. Staying at tents would be a great experience.

Other important Information:

Apart from all that we also want you to stay calm and poised when it comes to thinking about security arrangements. For your kind information several battalions of CRPF and ITBP will ensure your safety in the way. Medical arrangements have also been made to make this Machail Yatra successful. 9 highly qualified doctors, 4 ambulances and many PHC’s ( Primary Health Centers) and sub-centers are there to provide timely treatment to the needy patient. Also it has been directed that no vehicular movement will be allowed from Kishtwar to Paddar after 6 PM.

SDM PADDAR ISSUES ORDER REGARDING MACHAIL YATRA

Machail Yatra will start tomorrow on 25th of July. Keeping this in view Sub Divisional Magistrate Paddar has issued an order to plug all the buttons of service that is expected from the Govt. officials during this Machail Yatra-2019. Variety of jobs has been assigned to the officials at Gulabgarh and Machail Paddar.

For the smooth conduct of Machail Yatra and to maintain Law and Order situation at Gulabgarh Helipad and surrounding, SHO Paddar Sh. Sarabjeet Singh has been appointed.

Machail Yatra Helicopter Ticket Price Fixed for 2022

Setting all the rumours aside, administration of Kishwar district has finalized the helicopter ticket prices for the current year 2022 for Machail. As we know that Machail is about 32 kms from Gulabgarh where the abode of Maa Chand is situated. So chopper facilities are available from 2 places in District Kishtwar, one from the home town Kishtwar and other from the nearby town village called Gulabgarh. Gulabgarh is 65 kms away from the Kishtwar town. Road till Gulabgarh is quite good and worth travelling.

DC Kishtwar Sh.Ashok Sharma ji in his statement said that the allotment of contract for providing helicopter services to Shri Machail Mata Yatra would be from 25th of July to 5th of September.

Chopper facilities during Machail Yatra 2022?

Helicopter operators have finished all the formalities to fly helicopters to Machail.

Two private companies have managed to bag the Contract of providing Heli services for Machail Yatra, so they will carry you to Machail. These are:

  • Aryan Aviation Private Limited and
  • Heritage Aviation Private Limited.

Machail Yatra Ticket Price, What are the Fares?

Helicopter fare will be Rs.2565 for one side and Rs. 5130 for both sides. Base will be Gulabgarh Paddar from where chopper‘s will fly.

Let us inform you that DC Kishtwar has further said that 60% tickets would be earmarked through online booking and rest 40% shall be booked on the spot at Kishtwar and Gulabgarh. Tickets can be booked online from any city.

Shiv Dham Yatra, Paddar

Shiv Dham Yatra to Pallali Paddar is about to begin from 27th of June this year. Like Machail Yatra and Chitto Yatra this Yatra is also gaining eminence in our state. It has been said that Shiva and Shakti, both living entities are present in the village. Along with this one can get a spectacle of mighty peaks from the village and during this pilgrimage natural aura of the season strikes a cord within the pilgrims. Shiv Shakti Sevak Sanstha is the management body which handles the affairs of this yatra. It will start from three places this year.

Places from where the Shobha Yatra shall begin:

This Year in 2019 it will commence from two more places other than Paddar. Wednesday on 26th of June Shobha Yatra shall step on from the houses of Sh. Bal Krishan Baloria of Balesa village and Sh Pawan Sharma of Janipur Jammu. On 27th of June, another Shobha Yatra will head toward Pallali under the guidance of Sh. Gurudev Dhanmantri Giri.

Shedule of the Yatra:

Yatras from Balesa village and Janipur Jammu will halt at Huryangwari village of Paddar for rest on 26th of June. On 27th of June all the three Yatras will begin their journey toward Pallali Paddar at sharp 10 ‘O’ clock in the morning. That night they will stop for their second halt at Hako Village in the temple of Myoo Naag. After nightlong jagrata and bhajan kirtan this yatra shall finally head toward the village of Pallali Paddar for Darshan on 29th of June where grand temple of Lord Shiva is situated. Afterwards, on 30th it will come back to the village called Huryangwari.

History of Shiv Dham Yatra:

Well I must start with the introduction of who laid the foundation of this divine dham. A Baba namely Dhanvantar Giri jee Maharaj from Basholi jammu first time visited this place and experienced the divinity of this place,  built the temple and brought this serene place into limelight. This temple between village Pallali and Baintha in Panchayat Pallali is one of the most beautiful temples you will get to see in paddar.

The temple is fortified by big wall with intricate carving and very high dome is visible. Nice carvings carved out of wood with sculptures of Lord Shiva and other gods and goddesses on the temple walls, very beautiful to look at.

Once you enter this abode of Shiva you will feel the serene silence and will automatically and without your knowledge you will go to silent prayer for some time. Darshan of Lord Shiva underneath a big stone. Apart of this, the whole panchayat is a place where ancestral life in the villages is preserved. We can see the pleasures of a rustic life – the cowherds & shepherds playing in the meadows, various craftsmen at work, typical village homes, fairs, panchayats etc. If this is the life for the past couple of centuries, there are also depictions of our glorious ancestors from the Vedic & later ages which is for you to explore my friends. The road journey in itself is mesmerizing as the road is traced to the one side of sapphire like blue Chenab river. There are local volunteers to help out in time of need. No hoardings by pandits or beggars. It’s only few kms from Gulab Garh. Annually, thousands of pilgrims pay visit to the place to seek blessings of Bholey Baba. Infact, the number of pilgrims with each passing year has kept on increasing manifolds.

There is no doubt, you will enjoy the pilgrimage all along. But before you start this Yatra don’t forget to keep all the necessary items with yourself. Those who have visited this mysterious place often compare this to Kailash. It is also an abode of Lord Shiva. Munificence of all the loved items of our Lord will keep you high in the devotion all along the journey. Charming scenery of the place, cold waters of the brooks and lofty peaks of our land-The Sapphire Land will keep you engaged so much that you will feel like you are experiencing Time Travel.
