Govt of UT of Jammu and Kashmir order for implementation of provision of the JK reservation Act, 2004.
Govt of UT of Jammu and Kashmir order dated 02.08.2022 makes it mandatory for a govt employee who has been appointed as an RBA/ALC candidate for serve for minimum of seven years in RBA/ALC areas. It has been noticed by the govt that a large number of employees who have availed the benefits of reservation under these categories have not fulfilled these conditions.
The order further reads that in the interest of administration and efficient manpower management along with attending to the needs of the RBA/ALC areas , such employees who have been beneficiaries of reservation under afore mentioned categories shall furnish an undertaking that they have served in such areas for a statutory mandated minimum period of seven years and also ordered for authentication from their respective HODs.
